Room 3 at Thorndon School have been working on totem poles. A totem poles is a pole that tells a little story on a pole. Totem Poles are made of wood, so it stays in the ground. People carve totem poles to represent their country. They make it out of a whole tree. Room 3 have been dong their own totem poles. TRhe totem poles we have done show: how many people in your family, what animal you want to be and your star sign. We made it out of paper and stuck it on to black card.
