Ruma karaka [Room 3] has been doing statistical investigations.We got into five goups.  First we made some lists, (for example,the question was - What is your favourite colour?)  You would have a list with all the people in the class on one side and you would go around the classroom asking people what their favourite colour is and you would put the answer down beside the person's name. Then comes the tally chart. At the top it would say, 'Item,Count and Total'. Under Item you would put down what people's favourite colours are. Under Count you would count put how many like the colour that is next to it, and under Total you would put how many people like the colour.When you have done the tally chart you get on to the bargraph, but that is too long and hard to tell you that so I’ll just get on to the statements  .In statements you don’t do much, the only thing you do is write aboat your bargraph.  That is what Ruma Karaka did in statistical investigations.  By Kara.
